Toyota is offering a $4000 finance deposit bonus on HiLux 4x4 SR5 dual-cab pickups and dual-cab/chassis models ordered by December 31, 2026.
The offer applies to diesel-powered versions of the 4x4 SR5 model grade, which competes with the Ford Ranger XLT and Isuzu D-Max LS-U dual-cab utes.
With the bonus applied, the effective cost of a HiLux 4x4 SR5 drops to $59,990 before on-roads for the four-door, five-seat pickup with a manual transmission, with the automatic cab/chassis reduced to $60,490 and the automatic dual-cab pickup to $61,990.
The deal applies to eligible new and demonstrator SR5s built between August 2025 and December 2026. Vehicles must be ordered and finance applications received by December 31, 2026, with finance settled by February 28, 2027.

It's available to approved private, Bronze and Silver fleet customers through Toyota Finance, with a minimum finance amount of $10,000. Lease products are excluded.
The promotion doesn't include the electric HiLux SR5, which is priced at $82,990 before on-road costs.
The offer comes less than 12 months after the new-generation HiLux was introduced, with the SR5 model grade starting at $3320 more than the previous model and the SR5 cab/chassis increasing by $3910.
It’s a significantly bigger incentive than the $1500 finance deposit bonuses offered on the HiLux in 2022 and 2024, while drive-away promotions in 2020 delivered reported savings of almost $9500.

The latest promotion helps Toyota counter Ford’s current offer of a $5000 fuel card on MY26.5 Ranger XLT, Wildtrak and Tremor model grades, or a discount of the same value. A $4000 offer applies to MY27 versions of the same grades.
Ford is also offering separate drive-away deals on various Ranger grades, including the MY27 Black Edition V6 4x4 dual-cab pickup at $59,000.
While the HiLux was Australia’s best-selling vehicle for seven consecutive years between 2016 and 2022, the Ford Ranger has taken the top spot for the past three years.
The HiLux continues to trail the Ranger as Australia’s most popular vehicle, but was only 1242 sales behind the Ford year-to-date at the end of September.

The HiLux 4x4 SR5 is fitted with a 150kW 2.8-litre turbocharged four-cylinder diesel engine, producing 420Nm with the six-speed manual or 500Nm with the six-speed automatic. Automatic versions also feature 48-volt mild-hybrid technology.
Standard equipment on the SR5 includes 18-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, upgraded brakes, an integrated tow bar and comfort-tuned rear suspension. Pickup versions also feature a sports bar.
There’s also a 3500kg braked towing capacity, with payload between 965kg and 1000kg, depending on the variant.

Earlier this month, Toyota Australia sales vice president John Pappas told CarExpert at a media briefing at the company’s Melbourne head office that he expected a record result for the final three months of 2026.
“Based on where we are right now, and with the plans that we've got for the last quarter, we’ll be number one again this year for the 31st year in Australia,” Mr Pappas said.
“The last quarter for us will be a record. The last time we did this type of volume in the last quarter was in 2020, and we’ll do more than what we did then. That was around 66,000 or thereabouts, so we’ll do more than that.”
“We’ve got our order banks still very, very healthy, and our order intake, fresh order intake, still going very, very strong,” Mr Pappas said.
