Honda Australia has announced five free scheduled services and a gift card worth up to $3000 as part of its 2026-build ‘Honda Plate Clearance’ promotion between now and January 31, 2027.
The offer applies to 2026-manufactured examples of the brand’s most popular model, the CR-V, as well as the smaller HR-V and ZR-V SUVs, and includes both hybrid and petrol models.
Eligible petrol SUV models come with a $1000 gift card, as does the hybrid-only Prelude sports car, which saw the nameplate return to Australia earlier this year after an absence of more than two decades.
The Prelude shares its underpinnings with the Civic, which is part of the offer. The hot-selling Civic Type R flagship misses out on the offer, as it's in high demand and short supply after the latest batch of 98 vehicles, expected here next month, sold out after going on sale in July.

Eligible hybrid models, which include the Accord sedan, come with gift cards worth between $1000 and $3000, depending on the model and grade. The cards will be sent within 30 days of vehicle delivery.
All models included in the servicing promotion receive the first five scheduled services – covering five years or 50,000km, whichever comes first – at an authorised Honda service centre, free of charge. This equates to a $1395 saving, with each annual service priced at $279, having increased from $199 last month.
The recently launched Honda Super-One electric city car is the only Honda model to escape the price rise, remaining at $199 per service, due every 12 months or 15,000km, whichever comes first. It's also not part of the Honda Plate Clearance promotion.
The free-servicing time frame matches Honda’s five-year, unlimited-kilometre new-vehicle warranty, which can be extended to eight years if customers continue to service their vehicles through authorised Honda service centres and meet the program’s conditions.

While most of its Japanese rivals have posted sales declines, Honda Australia’s sales have increased 1.5 per cent in 2026, outperforming Toyota, which has posted a 15.9 per cent decline over the same period, while Mazda Australia’s sales were down 16.2 per cent.
Honda’s gains have been led by its CR-V SUV, a Toyota RAV4 and Mazda CX-5 rival, which made up 38 per cent of its sales between January and September 2026.
The smaller ZR-V SUV, a Nissan Qashqai and Hyundai Kona rival, has been its biggest mover so far in 2026, with a 10.6 per cent increase in sales over the same period last year.
